It's kind of sad but this will be the last challenge over at the challenges for you blog. It's a pity because I always loved working with their sketches and challenges. Every week so much inspiration and always such a lovely comments on your work I'll miss them.
So today my last take on their challenge. I've played along each and every week never missed a challenge. Thank you all for your kindness and great inspiration.

It's been a while since I did some designwork for MadeByMaly but just before the holidays she send me a box with bazzill worth remembering and lilybee design head over heels papers to work with.
So from now on you'll see different layouts I created with these papers.

Today I would like to share with you two layouts I made using the challenge over at a scrapbookforum organized by Yvon.
It's called Every Month A Little More (EMLM). She will challenge us every month using some more items at our layout.
Vandaag wil ik jullie twee lootje laten zien die ik gemaakt heb naar aanleiding van een challenge op een scrapbookforum georganiseerd door Yvon.
Ze noemt het Every Month A Little More (EMLM) en elke maand zal ze iets meer toevoegen aan de lootjes.

EMLM december 2011;

Use one photo, one brad, one ribbon, one stamp (which you are allowed to use just one time) and you had to use the word ONE.

gebruik 1 foto, 1 brad, 1 stukje touw of ribbon, 1 stempel (die mag je maar 1x afdrukken), en de extra opdracht is gebruik het woord een of one in je titel.

EMLM 2 january

Use two different brands designpaper, two pieces of ribbon, two pieces twine, two different stamps, two tags, two buttons, two photos.
And you had to make some journaling.

gebruik cardstock, 2 merken designpapier (niet meer en niet minder) en aub bij het plaatsen van je lo even melden welke 2 merken je hebt gebruikt, 2 stukken lint,2 stukjes touw/garen, 2 verschillende stempels, 2 tags, 2 knopen en niet te vergeten 2 foto`s. De titel mag je overal van maken of gebruiken dus bv chipboard letters thickers zelf snijden etc mag allemaal
De extra opdracht die erbij hoort is, maak er een journaling bij verborgen of zichtbaar. verder mogen jullie niets extra`s gebruiken.

Project life

After reading and seeing all those beautiful project life posts on different blogs and sides it was only a matter of time till I got hooked.
So from now on you'll be watching my version of project life on this blog.
I used the beautiful simple stories year o graphy line and the we R memory keepers page protectors and several items from my stash. I hope I'll keeping up with it the whole year I'll do my very best.
Nadat ik overal op blogs and forums uitvoeringen en enthousiaste verhalen tegen kwam van het project life moest ik er toch maar aan geloven en ben ik dit ook gestart. Ik gebruik hierbij de papierlijn van simple stories year o graphy en de page protectors van we R memory keepers. Verder allerlei spullen die ik nog op voorraad heb en nu maar hopen dat ik het een heel jaar volhoud.

I usually don't make any goals for the new year but this time I do.
One of those goals is that I at least make one christmascard a week so I won't have to stress at the end of the year making all those christmascards.
So today I have two more christmascards for you.

Top 10 2011

Hello again I wish all my blogreaders a happy scrappy new year and I hope to share with you lots of creativity this year.
To start I don't gonna show you new work but I made a top 10 list from my work over the last year.
Had a hard time doing so because I've been pretty busy the last months mostly with cards but I also did some major layout scrapping and projects.
Anyway here is my top 10 for 2011.

Hallo iedereen. Ik hoop dat jullie oud en nieuw goed zijn doorgekomen en wens jullie alle goeds voor 2012. Hopelijk zal ik ook dit jaar weer veel inspiratie met jullie delen. Om dit jaar te beginnen laat ik jullie geen nieuw werk zien maar een top 10 van m'n favoriete werk van het afgelopen jaar. Viel nog niet mee om dat samen te stellen want ik ben flink bezig geweest heb ik gezien. De laatste maanden hoofdzakelijk met kaartjes maar toch ook de nodige layouts en projectjes. Hopelijk word komend jaar ook zo productief.

So here they come. My takes on the sketches they provided during the months october, november and december. Loved the sketches and had much fun making them. Learned a lot and loved all the inspiration so thank you. I even won the random price with the november sketch and used it on the december sketch.

It's been quiet here for some days. I hope you all had some great christmasdays and now we are counting down till new year.
Made some cards during these holidays but mostly enjoyed being with the family.

As much as I like to make cards it's also so much fun to create layouts.
So today no cards but two layouts.
Ook al vind ik het heerlijk om kaartjes te maken het is ook zalig om layouts te maken. En zeker na zo'n gigantische stapel kaarten is het lekker om weer even anders bezig te zijn en layouts te creeren.

This layout is based upon the work from Berdien. I just love her cards and layouts she gives me so much inspiration.
Deze eerste layout is gebaseerd op het werk van Berdien. Ik ben een groot fan van haar werk dit zit altijd vol inspiratie.

Today the challenges for you challenge and a picture of a lot of christmascards. I don't show them seperate otherwise the post will be much too long.

Vandaag mijn uitwerking van de challenge van het challenges for you blog en een foto van een boel kerstkaarten ga ze maar niet allemaal apart plaatsen anders word de post veel te lang.

The challenge was a tic tac toe and I choosed the vertical row, use embossing, distress inkt and lace.

The time is almost here to start sending the christmas cards but I'm still creating them. So I use all the sketches I can find to help me making those cards.

Liftchallenge # 5

I already played along with the liftchallenge over at the blog from Nadine and Cornelie, but I didn't do any stitching and that's wath it's all about at this card. I so love the cards Margot makes she is such an artist with thread and needle so I simple had to make another card with stitching. And I think it turned out not too bad.
Ik had al een kaartje ingestuurd voor de liftchallenge maar ik kon het toch niet hebben dat ik hier niet op geborduurd had aangezien het toch echt om dit borduren ging. Ik ben een grote fan van Margot d'r werk ze is echt een kei in het gebruik van naald en draad. Dus bij deze m'n tweede kaartje voor deze lift en het is geeneens zo slecht geworden.

Blinde scrap

After making a lot of cards the past weekend I loved making ths layout yesterday. It was a so called blind scrap. We got a description of the layout and created it. It's so much fun to see the outcome of all the layouts.
Na het maken van al die kaartjes afgelopen weekend was het heerlijk om voor de afwisseling weer eens een layout te maken.
We kregen wederom een beschrijving van een lootje en moesten hem vervolgens " blind" scrappen. Zo leuk om te zien hoe iedereen dit op z'n eigen manier interpreteerd.

Hierbij de beschrijving;

- een effen achtergrondvel
- plaats 1 strook dessinpapier van 30 cm net voorbij het midden van de pagina
- plaats 1 iets kortere strook hier half overheen
- plaats een heel klein dun strookje over het naadje van deze twee stroken
- neem 5 kleine fotootjes in verschillende formalen (vierkant, lang, dun, klein), wel allemaal in rechthoekig formaat en groepeer deze leuk in het midden van de pagina en dus deels over de stroken papier
- in 1 hoek van het groepje fotoos een titel (in kleine letters)
- in 2 andere hoekjes twee embellischments
- en naast het groepje fotoos een journaling, handgeschreven
- verder de lo leeglaten

First of all I would like to thank you all for your sweet comments at my previous posts. From now on I think I'm only going to show you christmascards because I realised that christmas is just around the corner.

Als eerste wil ik jullie allemaal bedanken voor de lieve reactie's op m'n vorige kaartjes. Vanaf nu zullen al mijn blogposten wel gevuld zijn met kerstkaartjes want ik realiseerde me dat kerst er nu wel heel erg snel aankomt.

Then I would like to answer some questions from the previous posts.
Judith asked me how I managed to get those dots on this card.
Well it's not that difficult. I just embossed the big dots till the stripe and the little dots against the other stripe before folding my card in two. So the little dots are also at the back of my card. I hope she will understand.

Dan wil ik graag nog antwoord geven op vragen uit de vorige posten. Judith vroeg hoe ik die bolletjes zo mooi naast mekaar kreeg in dit kaartje. Helemaal niet moeilijk hoor ik heb gewoon de kleine bolletjes geembost op de opengevouwen kaart dus op de achterkant zie je nu ook een aantal kleine dots. Hoop dat het zo duidelijk is.

About the christmastree in this post. It was not my idea I found it at the kerstkaarten-weblog. Here is a drawing.
It's not exactly how I made my tree. I used different seizes squares starting with 3 cm by 3 cm and finished with 9 cm by 9 cm. I stuck all those folded squares together thus making this tree.

Dan wat betreft de boom uit deze post,hij is inderdaad gevouwen. Niet mijn eigen idee, vond het op het kerstkaarten-weblog. Hierbij een tekening. Ik heb hem wel anders gemaakt mijn vierkantjes zijn steeds groter ben begonnen met een vierkantje van 3x 3 cm en geeindigd met eentje van 9 x 9 cm. Deze afzonderlijke gevouwen vierkantje in mekaar geschoven teneinde een kerstboom te creeren.

I would like to try something different. I'm a huge fan of Birgit's work. If you've never visited her blog you should do so she makes the most beautiful clean & simple cards. Her cards are often a true work of art.
So today I would like to try something of that art for myself. I hope she doesn't mind me lifting some of her great idea's.

Hi there here I am once again with two more cards.
I combined two challenges in the first card. The playdatecafe challenge, black and white and a splash of orange. I'm sorry for the picture somehow I don't manage to show the real orange color it looks as if it's red but in real life it's so orange as it can be.

A tough challenge this time I had no idea that those patterns were called chevrons. Looking through my papers I found some papers with this pattern and used the layout from the left picture. So here my take on this weeks challenge over at the challenges for you blog.
Een moeilijke challenge deze keer. Had nog nooit gehoord van chevrons. Vond zowaar wat papiertjes met dit patroon en ook de cuttlebug embossingfolder deed het goed hierbij. Heb de layout voor het kaartje een beetje afgekeken bij de linkerfoto.

My second post today. It's been a while since I played along with the sketches over at the My mind's eye blog. Yesterday I received some great new paperpads from the recent collections so I immediately sat down and made this card.
Mijn tweede post voor vandaag. Het is alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik mee heb gedaan bij de challenges van het MME blog. Gisteren kreeg ik wat nieuwe pads van de nieuwste collecties en daar moest ik natuurlijk gelijk mee aan de slag.

The theme was fall and since it's one of my favorite seasons I simply had to make this card. For me fall is all about the earth colors especially orange and pumpkins.
Het thema was herfst. Dit is een van m'n favoriete seizoenen dus moest dit kaartje worden gemaakt. Ik ben dol op de herfstkleuren en dan met name oranje en natuurlijk de pompoenen.

I decided to make a start with the christmascards because I need a whole stash. So I looked for some more sketches to use for my christmascards I once again found them on the blog of Iwona. She did a stamp and collab week with Jill Foster and made some great sketches.
Ik heb maar besloten om toch met de kerstkaarten te starten aangezien ik er een heleboel moet maken. Wat is er dan gemakkelijker dan wat sketches zoeken en aan de slag. Wederom vond ik mooie sketches op het blog van Iwona. Ze hield vorige week een stamp and collab week samen met jill Foster en maakte hele leuke sketches.

For the following layout all materials I used are purchased by Marianne (madeByMaly). I usually work with papers from one brand but in this layout I combined the new prima marketingpapers with My mind's eye lost and found.
They really match together.
Voor het volgende lootje heb ik spullen gebruikt die ik allemaal bij Marianne(MadebyMaly) heb besteld. Normaal werk ik meestal met een merk/lijn papier maar voor deze layout heb ik een combinatie van prima marketing en my mind's eye gebruikt. Deze gaan prima met mekaar.
